Favorite Saint: St. Gianna Beretta Molla – A pediatrician in Italy, St. Gianna balanced her work with her family life and advocated for the rights of children (born and unborn).  She carried four of her own children, despite great risk to her health.  She was a great wife and mother who dedicated much of her life to prayer.

Favorite Outside-Of-Work Activity:  Knitting and crocheting

Favorite Moment at OLL: The feeling of peace I got when I walked through the doors the first time.

Favorite Children’s Book: “ The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” – The stories are filled with fun adventures plus lessons about love and friendship.  Plus, who doesn’t love teddy bears?

Favorite Place In Minnesota: The North Shore – It’s the perfect place to have fun and to relax. Everything is so peaceful and so beautiful.

Qualities Your Favorite Teacher Possessed:  Energetic, enthusiastic, and empathetic

When/how you knew you wanted to work in Education:  I knew early on that I wanted to be a teacher but it was my junior year of high school when I realized I enjoy reading and writing essays.  That moment I knew I had to teach English!  I just love having the opportunity to get to know new people and share knowledge about my favorite subjects!

Education:  The College of Saint Benedict; Major: English; Minors: Secondary Education and Teaching English as a Second Language

All core subject teachers hold a teaching license in their subject matter.
