Favorite Outside-Of-Work Activity: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love getting out on the trail to walk or jog.
Favorite Moment at OLL: I always enjoy preparing for concerts and seeing student’s hard work pay off at the performances. Another favorite was having 5 alumni students come back and perform a surprise performance at a concert.
Favorite Children’s Book: “The Old Man and the Afternoon Cat”- I’m not actually sure why I enjoyed this book, but it has always been a favorite. I was excited to share it with OLL students during library time last school year.
Favorite Place In Minnesota: My parent’s cabin in Glenwood. It’s always a great time to just relax and spend time on the water.

When/how you knew you wanted to work in Education: I always wanted to be a teacher from the time I was in kindergarten. When I was in high school band, I decided that I wanted to pursue music education.
