Favorite Saint: St. Teresa of Calcutta, she helps me remember that even the smallest deed can make a huge impact on the lives of others.

Favorite Outside-Of-Work Activity: My favorite activity outside of school is spending time camping and four-wheeling with my family. I love being able to spend time outside and share adventures with my loved ones.

Favorite Moment at OLL:  My favorite moment at OLL was bringing the 8th graders on the Mission Trip to Chicago. We try to teach the importance of service to our students during their time at OLL. It is so fun to see the students truly realize how much serving others in turn is serving themselves.

Favorite Children’s Book:  “Pippi Longstocking”, I always loved books with main characters who had red hair like me. I loved how outgoing and adventurous Pippi was. I wanted to be just like her.

Favorite Place In Minnesota: McCarthy Beach State Park, this state park is on the same lake my grandparents had a home on and is one of the best beaches in the state. I love being able to spend time with my family in a place that has such sentimental meaning to me.

Qualities Your Favorite Teacher Possessed:  My favorite teacher was consistent and fair. You always knew what she expected of you, but she also understood that life happens and plans might need to change.

When/how you knew you wanted to work in Education:  I have known I wanted to be a teacher since my first day of Kindergarten. I came home every day that year and taught my younger brother everything I had learned. I love to tell him that he owes all of his success to me because I gave him a leg up in school.

Anything else you would like to share with families: As an alumnus of OLL, I understand the value of Catholic education. I love partnering with parents to ensure their children receive a quality education.

Education: BS in Education from Crown College.

All core subject teachers hold a teaching license in their subject matter.
